Toss
Write it out. Toss it. Gone.
An app for writing down what's on your mind and letting it go. Nothing you write is saved or sent anywhere, so you can write freely without worrying who might see it.
Software studio for quiet apps
Your time,
your choice.
deltacontra is a small studio building apps for iOS and Android.
We make apps that help close the gap between what you mean to do and what you end up doing.
About
About us
Somewhere along the way, phones and apps started trying to keep us using them longer and more often. Streaks break. Screen time gets reported back as a number. Life was supposed to get easier, yet we keep finding new reasons to be hard on ourselves.
deltacontra builds apps that aim for the opposite. No scores, no pressure. Instead, they give you a moment to pause and remember what you really wanted to do. We want to help with the small choices you make again, every day.
Behind the name
delta (Δ) is the symbol for change in mathematics, and contra means “against.” Rather than going with the flow, we want you to choose the small changes in your day for yourself.

We are currently developing three apps. We will announce release dates here once they are set.

Anchor
No judgment. Just the next 30 minutes, for you.
Caught yourself scrolling again? Pick one thing you want to do for the next 30 minutes, and step away from the apps you keep opening. It's fine to stop early.

RE:FRAME
Let one day of reflection stay with you.
You spend a day rethinking your life and writing it all down. A few months later, you can't even remember where you put it. RE:FRAME keeps those words close and helps you come back to them in everyday life.
Our way
What we value
01
Start with real problems
We begin with who is having a hard time, and when, not with what we want to build. We talk to people to check our assumptions before we build anything.
02
No pressure from numbers
Streaks, completion rates, rankings. They keep people coming back, but on hard days they also give people a reason to blame themselves. So we leave them out of our apps.
03
What you write stays with you
We don't send what you write, or how you use our apps, to our servers beyond what is truly needed. Wherever we can, everything stays on your phone.
